From MBTI to Socionics
INTJ in Socionics
Your likely starting point is LII — Analyst. A hint for exploration, not a one-to-one conversion.
Your likely type: LII
If you identify with INTJ, LII is a useful starting point to explore. Compare the description below with your own experience rather than treating familiar letters as proof.
LIIs are driven by a deep need to understand how things work at a fundamental level. They build elegant mental frameworks and value logical consistency above all else. Their thinking is precise, systematic, and thorough.
Why the letters do not map one-to-one
The systems draw on similar ideas but define and organise them differently. In common Socionics four-letter notation, j/p describes whether the leading function is rational (judging) or irrational (perceiving). MBTI’s J/P letter instead describes the orientation of the extraverted function. For introverts, that can make familiar letters look reversed. A matching label is not enough to establish a matching type.
Socionics vs MBTI: understand the differencesWhat Socionics adds
Socionics adds a model of relations between types: where two people may support each other and where misunderstandings can recur. It gives you another set of questions to bring into a real relationship, not a prediction of whether it will succeed.

ESE — Enthusiast
If LII fits you, ESE is its natural complement in the app’s model. Shared trust and care still matter more than any type pairing.
